SFW spent the day volunteering to help repair homes in Guilford County
GREENSBORO, NC — Sales Factory volunteered with Community Housing Solutions in Greensboro, NC on Friday, October 19.
Community Housing Solutions (CHS) is a local nonprofit organization that focuses on repairing homes for those who cannot afford to do so alone. CHS focuses on providing decent, safe and affordable housing to low-income households.
Sales Factory spent the day working to clean up the yard of leftover debris and trash, sweeping out the inside of the home and building a deck.
“We love working with CHS because we can give back to Greensboro in a big way. There’s nothing more important than having a safe roof over your head and giving our time is the least we can do,” said Emily Bratton, coordinator of the event and Director of Digital at Sales Factory.
The company split up into two groups taking a morning and afternoon shift. The two teams met over lunch and shared a meal with the CHS leaders.
Sales Factory has a passion for working together outside of the office and doing good in the Triad. The company works with CHS semiannually and participates in events like Reelin’ for Research and CreateAthon.
