Digital Marketing Director

The Digital Marketing Director at Sales Factory thrives on driving client success in the digital marketing world. Sales Factory’s digital team works to drive brand growth through the collaborative execution of digital marketing campaigns while maintaining a strong digital presence for agency brands across multiple channels. This position serves as the agency’s digital marketing lead and is responsible for managing and mentoring the digital marketing team, campaign execution, including strategy development, digital content strategy and creation, media planning and budgeting, campaign setup and management, and internal and external reporting. The Digital Marketing Director should have extensive knowledge of digital marketing and digital design/development and is responsible for driving Sales Factory's ability to service and drive brand growth for our clients on a growing number of digital marketing platforms.


  • Drive brand growth
  • Serve as leader of the digital marketing vertical and mentor/teacher to their employees, facilitating a high-functioning team
  • Drive the overall strategy for brands’ digital presences, including website, content, social media, advertising, email programs, etc.
  • Create, manage and optimize advertising campaigns on several platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, programmatic, etc.)
  • Optimize landing pages for relevance and user experience, driving towards a trackable conversion
  • Collaborate across the organization to strategize and execute digital content, including landing pages, websites, blogs, social content, and ad creative
  • Ensure ad creative meets best practices and platform-specific requirements
  • Monthly reporting on campaign performance and client KPIs
  • Create digital media plans and proposed budgets
  • Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and vendor offerings in digital marketing and design/development
  • Support continued growth of Sales Factory, the digital marketing team, and the organization's capabilities

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing programs; additional experience with client relations/management a plus
  • Proficiency in paid search, display ad platforms, YouTube advertising, and social media advertising required; ecommerce advertising/retail marketing experience preferred, CRM and marketing automation platform experience a plus
  • Proficient understanding of SEO and how to impact search ranking
  • Expert in UI/UX best practices
  • Knowledge of digital design and development process, terminology, and best practices
  • Strong ability to translate complex concepts to colleagues and clients in understandable and digestible language
  • Mastery of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize work across multiple projects, clients and internal resources
  • Experience managing a team and a strong ability to teach, mentor, and lead other team members
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
